We are delighted to present this year’s speakers, Ben and Tanya Burmaster. Ben is a “serial entrepreneur” and has built several successful businesses. Together with Tanya, he founded Snuggle-Bugz in 2006, based on their shared vision of supporting Canadian parents navigating the early stages of parenthood. Tanya is the public face of SnuggleBugz, having now grown it to nine stores. Her focus is taking care of and instilling confidence in new parents.

The Burmasters are actively working to establish God as the center of their lives. Their commitment to Christ is evident in their parenting decisions and how they manage their business. Driven by the family’s strong sense of community, they have spearheaded Snuggle-Bugz’ philanthropic initiative, KindNest. This sustainable program provides under-employed Haitian artisans with training and work opportunities that raise them out of poverty.

Ben also invests time with the new wave of entrepreneurs in his community, supporting and coaching other young business leaders with the same guidance he received in his early years. Ben and Tanya live in Burlington with their three young children. Their priorities of faith, family and fitness are woven through life, business and community endeavours.
